Anxiety Disorders in Older Adults

This workshop provides an overview of mental health and aging, with an emphasis on anxiety disorders. The different types of anxiety disorders will be discussed, as well as the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders in older adults. The various psychotherapeutic and medication interventions, and their success in treating older adults will also be explored.
