- Where does the GeriEd assessment take place?
There are several convenient options availble. GeriEd Consulting offers home visits, which also provide the opportunity for home safety evaluation. GeriEd can assesses clients in Retirement Communities, Assisted Living Facilities & Nursing Homes. Facility/agency on-site appointments for health care providers are available, and GeriEd Consulting also offers convenient phone consultations.
- What are the costs for a GeriEd Consultation?
The GeriEd consultation fee is $90 an hour. There is a flat travel fee which ranges from $20 to $90, depending on the distance traveled. There is a 1 hour minimum charge for GeriEd consultation services, payable up front when services are rendered. Phone consultations are also available for which there are no travel fees.
- How many appointments are recommended; is there a minimum number of required appointments?
There is no required number of appointments; the number of appointments needed is individual, and based on each client's unique situation & needs. Many clients benefit from just one initial appointment, and call in the future if their situation changes or additional needs arise, while some clients may need several initial appointments to sort things out.
- What are the costs for educational programs and speaking engagements?
The costs for GeriEd educational programs are varied and depend on the type, length and location of the program, as well as the availability and number of CEU's offered.
