Working With Caregivers of Aging Relatives

This workshop will help you to identify and understand the physical, emotional, and psychosocial stressors that family caregivers of aging relatives are experiencing, and help you to communicate and work more effectively with them. Stressors related to providing health care services will also be addressed, enabling you to guide the staff members on your team to understand, empathize, and work more effectively with family members. Basic, practical stress management techniques and strategies that work for both family members and health care provides will also be discussed.
